Stop limiting GOD’s ability to expand your territory. Have you ever seen someone with great potential, but they have yet to recognize their gifts and talents. Their hearts desires are small and mediocre, but yet the possibility for their lives is beyond what they can think or imagine. Greatness is yours for the asking, but you have to believe in the possibilities.

I recall a job interview where the interviewer indicated to me that after our initial meeting, he knew that he would hire me, so during the official interview, I only had to answer one question: If your name were in the newspaper, what would the title of the article say? My answer to the question was, “I don’t know what the title would say because I’ve never seen my name in the newspaper. However, I often have visions of  my name being in magazines and although I don’t know what the article is about, I know that its about my success.” The interviewer was impressed and entertained by my response. As I think back on that moment, I too laugh at how upfront I was with my answer. But I didn’t lie. For years, I have seen visions of myself being in front of crowds speaking, promoting my (unknown) book and being in magazines like, Essence, Ebony, or Black Enterprise. I picture myself being a featured young entrepreneur 40 under 40. I would be noted as someone who has made a difference in the lives of others through motivation and encouragement. Someone who isn’t fearful about telling her own story in hopes that it will encourage someone else to press forward to their own dreams and aspirations. I see it! I expect GOD to do even the more in my life. I know that He can do above all that I can ask or think!

I say it again, Stop limiting GOD’s ability to expand your territory! Greatness awaits you, but you have to believe it! I believe and so should you. Although I am waiting for the vision to come to pass, I know that in His perfect time, it will all be revealed. Until then, I wait with anticipation. I encourage you to ask GOD to expand your territory. Believe that He can and He will!

Thought of the day:  If GOD has given you a glimpse of your future, what are you doing to help your vision become reality?  Write the vision, make it plain. For the vision is yet for an appointed time…though it tarries, wait for it…it will surely come. (Habakkuk 2:2-3)
